While Brad was away...

While Brad was traipsing around the western US, we girls hung out in Durham, enjoying a visit from Gran!

Gran and Grandpa gave the girls subscriptions for Kiwi Crates for Christmas, so we thought it would be fitting to work on some with Gran, so she could experience the fun:

Claire's long-awaited knitting class with Gran went over extremely well:

We spent one afternoon at the museum, after a loooooong. COVID-era-induced hiatus:

We went to Target, hunted down canning lids at the Tractor Supply in Hillsborough, read lots of books, did some bike riding, and just enjoyed getting an extra visit with Gran:

When Gran headed home- but before Brad got back- Amiee came for a couple of days! She's our closest family member, now that she's in Boone (2.5 hours from here), and it's been fun to have her pop over just because she can!

Never boring or lonely over here!

While it would have been super fun to see Mt. Rushmore, I think we had a pretty good time ourselves right here in Durham.
