September was a good month for us! We were healthy after our August illness, got into a flow with our school days, and it was finally not sweltering all day every day (this is very important to me).
On our Friday Community Days, Brad kept Hallie home with him so that she could continue napping regularly. They had a good time together.
Mostly...
Lots of playing and together time:
I make a family yearbook every year, and the girls LOVE to spend ages going through them.
Trumpkin often keeps guard for us. She's very good at it.
Not sure what's happening here, but I'm loving both of their faces.
At this point, at almost 13 months, Hallie was still not crawling (not to mention walking). Brad worked diligently with her to get her going. It worked, too! We have a friend who is a pediatric PT who said he did everything just right, so no worries.
As he likes to point out...he IS a doctor now.
And as Claire liked to point out a few years ago: "but not the kind that helps people."
This is why I checked with Maggie about it all.

The stuffies were set upon with sunnies...
...as was the baby.

Sometimes, I find dinosaurs tethered up like horses at an old western saloon.
Normal. #lilywuzhere
I set up the Baby Containment Unit for Hallie to play in while the girls were playing outside, and next thing I know, they're all in there together. Sisters.
Sometimes, they pick out perfect stickers for him AND he wears them.
Brad's Mamaw sent over this picnic basket for the girls to enjoy. She and Brad's Papaw bought it not long after they were married.

Eventually, I'll have separate posts for Hallie again, but for now, please enjoy this adorable collection of Hallie pictures:
My sister-in-law, Jenna, gave Hallie a onesie like this when she was born and then this shirt for her first birthday, and I cried both times.
