Nana and Poppy did a great job of planning and balancing fun outings/activities, as well as visits with dear friends. (The Olympics were also going strong, so we squeezed in as much Olympics-watching as we possibly could.)
For some reason, Lily ended up sleeping in one of my dad's t-shirts. She loved it so much that she insisted on putting it back on over her dress for the day. I made her take it off when we got in the car...
We spent the morning at Cook's Museum of Natural Science...
...with my long-time friend, Kristen, and her girls!
The girls had such a good time exploring the museum!
And making new friends! These two loved the Beaver Dam exhibit, as it was just so very Narnia.
Nana was able to coax Hallie into letting her carry her around.
The girls really enjoyed playing with toys from my childhood. It's really fun to watch.
Claire chose to get her haircut like Lucy Pevensie, and I DIED at how cute it is.
Wearing Poppy's shirt and playing with Bo's childhood stuffies. Sounds about right.
Watching the Olympics!
Part 3 to come!
