Our long-time family friend, who call Gannell, drove up from central Alabama to visit with us for a few hours! Her birthday was the day before her visit, so we had cupcakes, as demonstrated by Brynna:
She brought the girls these inflatable globes, which was a HUGE hit!
Brynn demolished that cupcake!
Nana and Poppy have been building charm bracelets for the girls over the past few years, and they wanted to take them to the Brighton store in person to pick out a new one. This was a highlight of the trip for Claire and Lily, for sure!
The mom of one of my middle/high school friends works at Brighton, and we had a great time visiting with her while the girls picked out their charms!
It is so fun getting to see her when we're in town!
Mrs. Romine is such a rock star to the girls, so OBVIOUSLY, we had to have another visit!
This was Brynn, watching sadly as Mrs. Romine drove away.
We did a lot of visiting and activity-ing, but we also had normal, hanging-out kind of moments, too:
One super fun evening for the girls was impromptu, as my parents' neighbors invited us over to swim! We were just planning to go for an hour or so but ended up being there for closer to 3 hours!
Lily made a cute new friend.
They did this over and over and over again. And they had a blast!
