Memorial Day weekend

Our Memorial Day weekend was a little rocky, given that Claire had some sort of stomach bug for about 12 hours (just to make sure that I don't get too comfortable post-a-vomiting-child, the Universe gifted most of our family ended up getting a FOR REAL stomach virus the next week. #spoiler). So, a lot of our Memorial Day weekend was Lily and Brad getting some one-on-one time, which they both loved!

Also, please enjoy all of the patriotic outfits Lily got to sport all weekend! Wasn't Claire wearing these JUST YESTERDAY? I can't handle it.
Dress credits and thanks to: Aunt Donna, Nana, and Mrs. Twila

A quick trip to the outlets, which included some Dippin' Dots. Also, Lily's hair. It was so hot and her curls went awry. Bless.

Always a trick to get Lily to play ball for pictures...

But I was glad to grab these shots, since we couldn't get our regular Sunday morning pictures of the girls together.

There we go!

We were all supposed to go for dinner in the park with some friends, but these were the only two that got to go.

They had a great time!

Playing with our friend, Yael.

In their matching shirts on Memorial Day proper. These outfits lasted about 2 minutes before we switched to swimsuits for the slip-n-slide at our friends' house!

Look at my baby in her stars and stripes!

Between these two shots, I think we got everyone looking and smiling. Except Deb.

Sporting my Americana baseball team + my all-American baby

We had a good weekend (minus some vomiting) with each other, our church, and our friends. So grateful for those who have served our country and given of themselves or their loved ones.

Boswell beach trip 2022: part 1

Just another friendly reminder that I'm still playing catch-up. Clearly, it is not currently July... We made another annual trip to Tops...
