Further Up and Further In

Our pastor retired this summer, which was so bittersweet for our church. He's been such a faithful and trustworthy leader, and his leadership has been a reliable constant for our family. We were so sad to see the end of his time as pastor, but we were really grateful for the opportunity to celebrate him on several occasions!

Our dear babysitter, Lydia, was home for the summer, and the girls stuck pretty close to her at the big outdoor send-off for Allan.

The girls introduced their friends to Lydia's dog.

Quick snap with friends + Allan's wife, Betsy.

Silly song written for the send-off

A few final words of farewell

We miss him. But, we're so thankful to have been under his leadership for the time that we had. Our associate pastors are doing a great job of helping us through the transition, and we're looking forward to seeing what's next!

Just another friendly reminder that I'm still playing catch-up. Clearly, it is not currently July... We made another annual trip to Tops...
