Still time traveling and playing catch-up!
My mom has hosted a birthday party for every baby I've brought home since Lily. When we were expecting Lily, Claire got it into her head that the new baby was going to be bringing her (Claire) a cake. So, my mom made sure to have a cake when we brought Lily home. Since then, there has been a party for each new baby.
The girls had a blast helping my parents prep the food and decorate, and they loved getting dressed up!
We tried to get some photos in varying groupings:
Mom also brought belated birthday gifts for the big girls (they usually come in the spring and celebrate the girls' birthdays, but COVID altered that this year), and they were thrilled to open presents at Hallie's party. We got some very sweet pictures of everyone:
Lily is part-cat, so these cat ears were perfect for her.
This treasury of Kit stories kicked off a new, voracious phase of reading for Claire! We can't keep up with her reading passion.
The party girl couldn't hang for long.
